The project "ZeroSkin+ - Development of an adaptive modular panel for holistic renovation of residential buildings, based on recycled plastic and natural materials" intends to contribute to the current and urgent challenge of intervening at the existing building stock, which presents, in general, a very advanced stage of deterioration and low energy efficiency. It does that by investigating an approach based on a prefabricated modular system for structural and energy renovation using an additive manufacturing approach with composite materials based on recycled plastic and natural materials.
