The Structured R&D&I Project AIProcMat@N2020 - Advanced Industrial Processes and Materials for a Sustainable Northern Region of Portugal 2020 aims the promotion of a regional economic development model based on smart specialisation strategies, in particular the modernisation and technological upgrading of chemical and petrochemical industries, with contributions for the pharmaceutical, fine chemistry and flavour & fragrance industries, involving the development of specific applications of Key Enabling Technologies to improve efficiency and quality in these fundamental sectors of the Northern Region of Portugal. This Structured R&D&I Project is led by LSRE-LCM, a partnership between LSRE - Laboratory of Separation and Reaction Engineering and LCM - Laboratory of Catalysis and Materials that in December 2004 obtained the status Laboratório Associado.
