This project relies on a multi-disciplinary team to tackle the management and conservation of seamount resources problem, capturing different aspects and the dynamics of seamount ecosystem by using agent-based modelling simulation (ABMS) software tools. Using the already available data on Azorean seamounts, it is expected to create models for marine ecosystems and for a socio-economic component to feed the ABMS software tool with scenarios for different management and conservative options.
