The potential collaborator will carry out research tasks on creativity and social change.In this scope of research, topics related to the transformation of cities within the framework of globalization will be addressed. The phenomena of mass tourism and the appeal to creativity and culture, as urban development assets, are the main points that guide the investigation.In this field, it is important to delve deeper into the spatial and symbolic values that guide the urban territory and the several dynamics that transform ways of live, work and inhabiting, the aesthetic/artistic and cultural standards and regulations, that influence the urbanization process. The investigation will address the impacts of these transformation processes, which affect the real estate market, the real estate structure, residents, urban uses, and experiences. Mobility and urban environment, functional management and use of public space will also be highlighted in the research process. Within the framework of the ecological and digital transition, the deepening of urban phenomena emerges in a preponderant way, due to their capacity to generate large flows of capital and significant changes in society. The paradox arises, from the environmental crisis, on the one hand, and on the other, from the pressure of mobility and mass consumption.Sociological changes presuppose anthropological influences on how urban environments are perceived and transformed. These changes manifest in various forms such as inequalities, shifting dynamics among inhabitants, recompositions of social structures, tensions, and the diverse representations of urban spaces. Understanding these complexities requires a comprehensive, multi-dimensional, and integrative framework. Such an approach enables a nuanced examination of the interplay between societal transformations and the lived experiences within cities, fostering a deeper comprehension of urban phenomena and facilitating more effective responses to contemporary urban challenges.Considering the area of activity, the researcher must have a profile appropriate to the topics described, presenting a relevant CV to work in the area of creativity and social change. The methodological processes related to applied research must be considered, namely fieldwork and knowledge of case studies. Priority should be given to the selection of researchers with knowledge in the research area, ensured through scientific production and research carried out within the scope of R&D projects.In terms of connection to the research unit, these tasks will reinforce lines of investigation into issues of social change, as they will introduce mechanisms for decoding the urban social landscape in contemporary cities.
