Solid language skills in Portuguese and English, both spoken and written, are required as well as the ability to communicate with wider audiences. RationaleTechnology has taken a central stage in health transformations, as evidenced by advances in data intelligence and artificial intelligence applied to health systems and practice (smart health), in particular. The potential is manifold for political decision-making, the organization and management of health services, therapeutic approaches, and health literacy. However, the potential is as great as the challenges of ensuring and maintaining robust health systems, finding quality, cost-effective and equitable solutions, and improving the scientific processes that study and contribute to these transformations. In short, digital health requires multi-level systemic thinking that fosters the interface between research and interventions, as the GHTM advocates in its global health practice. This profile will be of utmost importance to consolidate this dual approach between digital and global health at the GHTM. Further, the purpose of the position is not only to support the Centre’s research and interventions in tropical medicine and global health through the integration of new health technologies but also to expand scientific knowledge in digital health and data intelligence in countries at different stages of development.
