Pesquisas recentes, incluindo a dos investigadores, começaram a explorar como a mecânica nuclear e a organização do genoma impactam a divisão celular. No entanto, a relação entre essas características nucleares e a segregação dos cromossomos ainda não está clara. Neste projeto, procura-se testar duas hipóteses que podem aprimorar significativamente nossa compreensão de como o núcleo celular contribui para a fidelidade da segregação cromossômica, com importantes implicações para a saúde humana.
