O projeto visa a adaptação e ampliação das instalações do Ecoponto/Ecocentro no Hospital Prof. Doutor Fernando Fonseca, com o objetivo de melhorar a gestão e o tratamento de resíduos hospitalares, cumprindo as normas e regulamentos em vigor, incluindo as orientações da ACSS. A intervenção ocorreu em duas zonas distintas do hospital, uma já dedicada ao Ecoponto e outra utilizada para o armazenamento ao ar livre de resíduos. A área de intervenção foi subdividida em duas zonas: a primeira destinada ao armazenamento de resíduos de menor volume, como resíduos hospitalares não perigosos e recicláveis, e a segunda, junto ao edifício industrial, destinada ao armazenamento de resíduos de construção e demolição e materiais sobrantes de obras.A requalificação incluiu a instalação de compactadores, contentores específicos, e áreas dedicadas ao armazenamento de resíduos líquidos perigosos, paletes, pilhas e lâmpadas. A criação de zonas de higienização e para a operação do pessoal responsável pela gestão de resíduos foi igualmente contemplada. A estrutura foi projetada para garantir durabilidade, resistência, acessibilidade, ventilação e segurança. Além disso, a intervenção teve como base princípios de sustentabilidade e boas práticas ambientais, contribuindo para a melhoria da eficiência operacional e reduzindo o impacto ambiental da gestão de resíduos hospitalares. Com o apoio do PRR, a modernização das instalações visa criar um ambiente mais seguro e eficiente para os profissionais de saúde, melhorando a capacidade de resposta do hospital.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
