O presente projeto pretende contribuir para a transformação da paisagem dos territórios de floresta vulneráveis na envolvente das áreas edificadas das aldeias de Valoura e Vila do Conde localizadas na Freguesia de Valoura e Vreia de Jales pertencente à Junta de Freguesia de Vreia de Jales no concelho de Vila Pouca de Aguiar.A proposta centra-se na valorização multifuncional destes territórios e incide na envolvente das aldeias referidas focando a proteção das mesmas contra incêndios rurais e a melhoria das condições para a atividade agroflorestal nos ecossistemas existentes através de intervenções concertadas e articuladas entre as Comunidades Locais e os utilizadores económicos (habitantes) destas áreas onde têm fundamental relevância agricultores produtores florestais e criadores de gado. Nesse objetivo pretende-se reabilitar atividades agroflorestais nestas parcelas promovendo uma gestão multifuncional com maior rentabilidade que a atualmente existente por forma a permitir a manutenção permanente destes espaços a baixo custo e de forma sustentável. A reabilitação das áreas passa de forma geral pela eliminação de espécies de Pinheiro-bravo existentes corte e remoção de matos em áreas com regeneração natural de folhosas autóctones a beneficiar beneficiação da galeria ripícola envolvente nas linhas de água beneficiação de folhosas autóctones e ainda a reconstrução de muros de pedra antigos.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
