Summary

A Unidade Local de Saúde Entre douro e Vouga (ULS EDV) reconhecida pela sua elevada produtividade cirúrgica no seio do SNS, pretende reforçar a sua capacidade assistencial através da implementação de um programa de cirurgia robótica.Com mais de 20.000 doentes intervencionados em 2024 e uma taxa de crescimento sustentado, a ULSEDV destaca-se tanto pela eficiência como pela diferenciação clínica das suas equipas. A introdução de um sistema robótico cirúrgico multiespecialidade visa garantir a continuidade deste percurso de excelência, promovendo a inovação clínica, a segurança do doente e a equidade no acesso à tecnologia de ponta.A robótica cirúrgica representa uma evolução natural da cirurgia minimamente invasiva, oferecendo benefícios clínicos amplamente reconhecidos:? Redução da perda sanguínea intraoperatória;? Diminuição do tempo operatório e do internamento hospitalar;? Recuperação mais rápida e menor necessidade de analgésicos;? Melhores resultados funcionais e cosméticos.Este projeto visa a aquisição de um sistema robótico cirúrgico de última geração, destinado à realização de procedimentos avançados em várias especialidades, nomeadamente: Cirurgia Geral (colorretal, bariátrica, hérnias complexas); Urologia (prostatectomia, nefrectomia); Ginecologia (histerectomias, endometriose); Otorrinolaringologia / Cirurgia de Cabeça e Pescoço (ressecções transorais) na Unidade Local de Saúde Entre Douro e Vouga. Este equipamento permitirá melhorar significativamente a precisão, reprodutibilidade e segurança dos procedimentos cirúrgicos, minimizando a dependência da experiência individual do cirurgião e promovendo melhores resultados clínicos e satisfação dos doentes.Acresce ainda que este investimento permitirá cumprir a Base 33 da Lei de Bases da Saúde, e os pilares fundamentais do PRR que orienta o Estado a promover o acesso equitativo à inovação tecnológica na saúde, nomeadamente no domínio da robótica. Paralelamente, reforça o compromisso da ULSEDV com a prestação de cuidados diferenciados, seguros e centrados no doente.

Beneficiaries

Within the scope of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, two types of beneficiaries are responsible for carrying out the projects and using the funding provided. Due to their similar role, the reference to these two types of beneficiaries has been simplified and unified under the term "Beneficiary".
The two types are::

Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.

Call for applications

As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.

The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
