Moreover, knowledge transfer skills (e.g. outreach and dissemination of research outputs to maximize its social impact) will be highly valued. RATIONALE FOR THE NEED TO HIRE IN THE SCIENTIFIC AREA.One of CES strategic goals is to examine alternative ways of promoting territorial cohesion through the activation of community-based projects supported by participative governance approaches. The researcher selected for this position is expected to produce research that contributes to understanding current societal crises and building socially just and effective strategies and interventions to deal with it, focusing on urban cultures and modes of organization and regulation of social, cultural, political, and economic life in urban territories.By strengthening the research potential of the Thematic Line CULTURS, CES upholds its commitment to producing ground-breaking research, with international impact, that contributes to substantial personal, societal and economic benefits for those facing vulnerability, empowering them psychosocially.

Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
Final evaluation score
The components for calculating the assessment score can be found in the selection criteria document mentioned below.
