The researcher will work together with the Business Research Unit’s Organizational Behavior and Human Resources (OBHR) research group in developing ongoing research projects as well as developing original research. This will entail the conception and design of research projects and their submission for competitive funding, the investment in data collection procedures, and the production of scientific papers. This researcher will collaborate with other researchers in streamlining the development of a hub to co-produce knowledge together, as well as with other stakeholders (e.g. companies), in order to better answer real societal challenges and to actively engage with society. In parallel, the researcher is expected to advance scientific knowledge on key strategic areas. Specifically, it is expected that the researcher will be knowledgeable on topics aligned with the quality of work life and promotion of collaboration, such as mistreatment at work, occupational health, and current human resources challenges (e.g. hybrid work arrangements, human-machine interaction). Furthermore, the researcher is expected to hold a PhD in the field of Human Resources Management and to have quantitative data analysis skills, including multilevel and longitudinal modelling, as well as skills in field data collection processes. The need to hire for this specific area stems from the continuous growth of the Business Research Unit (BRU-Iscte) and its OBHR group, both in terms of number of researchers and of existing projects. Hence, and considering that current researchers’ tasks also include teaching and management activities, there is the demand to increase the capacity regarding full time dedicated researchers to these topics. Furthermore, the researcher will integrate a collaborative multidisciplinary research environment, specifically by collaborating with other researchers from the SocioDigital Lab for Public Policy, thus contributing to a broader body of knowledge on these topics at the institutional level.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
Final evaluation score
The components for calculating the assessment score can be found in the selection criteria document mentioned below.
