Job DescriptionGiven that the candidate will be mainly working as a Researcher in the first 3 years, but will be integrating the Teacher career, the specific tasks are divided between these two realities:In the context of the ESCE teaching career:To collaborate with associate professors within the scope of Digital Transformation for Sustainability.To conduct and teach theoretical, theoretical-practical and practical classes.To guide, direct and monitor internships, seminars and laboratory or field work.Cooperate with the other teachers of the discipline or scientific area in the coordination in of programs, teaching methodologies and general lines of research relating to the disciplines in the Digital Transformation and New Technologies for Business Sciences scope (Logistics and Reverse Logistics for Sustainability, Sustainable Marketing, Sustainable Mobility).In the context of the ADiT-Lab research:Create synergies within the ADiT-Lab group, joint publications and development activities, and research projects participation, as well as other scientific and technical activities aligned with ADiT-Lab fundamental objectives: A) Improving quality of life of citizens; B) Digital preservation of cultural heritage; C) Improving of organizational process; D) Reduction of the ecological footprint.Participate in R&D projects.Participate in the initiatives to continue the knowledge transfer and its dissemination.Contribute to the ADiT-Lab internationalization, promoting contacts, leading protocols and collaborations, and creating synergies with international researchers and international research groups.Participate in the interaction with other IPVC R&D Units.Be aware of the R&D ADiT-Lab research work being undertaken by scholarship holders, research students, and research assistants.Supervise Master’s degree works or PhD thesis.??????? Scientific profileThe current application is dedicated to a researcher in Digital Transformation for Sustainability that will be integrating a teaching career in Digital Transformation and New Technologies for Business Sciences.As a prerequisite, the candidate must have benefited from a fixed-term contract or a postgraduate scholarship from a Science and Technology National Systems institution, as a PhD holderWe expect applications from PhD candidates holding the title of Industrial Management or Industrial Logistics or Business Sciences or other applied sciences, at more than five years, and with demonstrate experience in the research areas mentioned in this application.Ideally, the candidate should have one or more publications in journals indexed on Web of Science (SCIE and SSCI) or Scopus in Quartiles 1 and 2, over the past 5 years; and, on average, at least one publication per year on conferences or book chapters, over the past 5 years, demonstrating their ability as an author and researcher.The candidate must demonstrate the ability to participate in research projects and independently manage tasks associated with Digital Transformation for Sustainability research projects. Additionally, it will be valued the teaching experience, experience on knowledge transfer, and applied scientific experience in the above-mentioned fields. RationaleThis job vacancy is open at a teaching tenure career on Digital Transformation and New Technologies for Business Sciences scope (Logistics and Reverse Logistics for Sustainability, Sustainable Marketing, Sustainable Mobility) for the School of Business Sciences (ESCE), and it is closely associated with the ADiT-Lab research on Digital Transformation for Sustainability.This person will interact with the ESCE degree and master students, as well as with future PhD students, thereby aligning with IPVC´s strategy to foster research in key areas across its schools and research centers.The institution needs for a teaching career on Digital Transformation and New Technologies for Business Sciences scope, which comes from the need to have specialized personnel in the area that can propel new businesses and business models.

Beneficiaries

Within the scope of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, two types of beneficiaries are responsible for carrying out the projects and using the funding provided. Due to their similar role, the reference to these two types of beneficiaries has been simplified and unified under the term "Beneficiary".

Call for applications

As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
