CICSNOVA has a research group (RG) called "Cities, Environment and Regional Development". Within the scope of this RG, consistent and consolidated work has been carried out at the level of urban studies. This working group is fundamental to the future strategy of the research unit and to NOVA FCSH, in that it is directly linked to the postgraduate teaching offer, namely the Master and PhD programmes on Urban Studies. The field of leisure studies, tourism, culture and nightlife are of paramount relevance to the research carried out in this research group, which will be duly taken into account when defining CICSNOVA´s new strategic areas. Recruiting an Assistant Researcher in this field would allow to (1) strengthen the research developed under the emerging research line on Urban and Territorial Dynamics and Mobilities, at the RU level, by adding complementary expertise to the current group and enhance the research outputs, (2) support the Research Unit’s in achieving international recognition in its field and establishing it further as a reference both at the national and international level; and (3) contribute to teaching and mentoring at the post-graduate level, thus shaping a new generation of young researchers at the RU.  This position is also crucial to further develop NOVA FCSH Territory and Sustainable Development strategic line, one of the five strategic areas that will support t NOVA FCSH educational and research mission until 2030.

Beneficiaries

Within the scope of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, two types of beneficiaries are responsible for carrying out the projects and using the funding provided. Due to their similar role, the reference to these two types of beneficiaries has been simplified and unified under the term "Beneficiary".
The two types are::
  • Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
  • Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.

Call for applications

As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.

The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.

Final evaluation score

9,4
Important note

The components for calculating the assessment score can be found in the selection criteria document mentioned below.
