"O projeto tem como objetivo desenvolver e implementar um sistema integrado de produção de gases renováveis, utilizando diversas etapas, como a preparação de biomassa, digestão anaeróbia, upgrade do biogás, captura de CO2, liquefação, armazenamento, injeção e refueling (posto de abastecimento). O foco é valorizar os bioresíduos de mais de 4.000 clientes recebidos no maior aterro da zona Norte de Portugal, gerido pelo promotor da operação, assim como dos SGRU (Sistemas de Gestão de Resíduos Urbanos) da região."
