O projeto tem por principal objetivo a redução das perdas de água do Sistema de Abastecimento de Água da ilha do Porto Santo. Apesar da ilha do porto Santo apresentar níveis de perdas em 2015 inferiores a 30%, a tendência crescente nos últimos anos (em 2019 atinge cerca de 42,4%) dos níveis de perdas claramente indica a necessidade de intervenção nas redes de abastecimento e de drenagem com vista à melhoria dos níveis de eficiência operacional das Entidades Gestoras, quer no saneamento quer no abastecimento, designadamente através da gestão eficiente dos recursos ao nível de ativos e da reabilitação dos sistemas urbanos de distribuição e adução de água, incluindo o controlo e redução de perdas e reabilitação dos sistemas de drenagem de águas residuais. Trata-se de uma operação com enquadramento no PRAM (plano regional da água da Madeira) e no PGRH (Plano de Gestão da Região Hidrográfica).
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
