Segundo o diagnóstico social do Concelho de Matosinhos, a população dos Conjuntos Habitacionais: Estação, Caixa Têxtil e Laranjeiras, caracteriza-se na sua maioria por: - Elevada % de população idosa com maior prevalência de doenças crónicas tais como a diabetes, cardiovasculares, doenças auto-imunes, etc; - População ativa na sua grande maioria com condições laborais precárias; - Pobreza e exclusão social. A estes fatores junta-se o medo da infeção por Covid-19 e à dificuldade do confinamento onde não é fácil morar. Dado a contingência atual da pandemia de covid-19, a condição de vida destas pessoas tornou-se ainda mais frágil. Com o aumento do desemprego e trabalhos precários surge uma nova população ativa com elevada fragilidade social, com pouca proteção social por parte do estado e com elevadas dificuldades financeiras de subsistência e sobrevivência humana. Assim, e porque as necessidades de intervenção aumentaram exponencialmente com a pandemia, torna-se uma zona prioritária.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
