Os programas ESTAGIAR têm por objeto: a) Possibilitar aos jovens recém formados um estágio profissional em contexto real de trabalho, que promova a sua inserção na vida ativa; b) Complementar e aperfeiçoar as competências sócio profissionais, através da frequência de um estágio em situação real do trabalho; c) Facilitar o recrutamento e a integração de quadros nas empresas através da realização de estágios profissionais; d) Promover a transição do percurso escolar para a vida ativa; e) Apoiar a fixação de jovens e outros trabalhadores qualificados nas ilhas de menor dimensão demográfica.
