Summary

INVINCIBLE has 8 Specific Objectives (SO1-SO8) linked to specific TRL levels and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The targets defined refer to improvements to be achieved from INVINCIBLE highly innovative activities, clearly beyond the current state-of-the-art, and the status (baseline) of the WPs in M1. SO1: Development of cross-sector data-driven integrated services and products using data sources from energy and non-energy sectors that empower consumers in the energy transition, integrating all data streams into an innovative data-driven federation of platforms. TRL Levels: Initial TRL is 5. Final TRL is 7. KPIs: # Data streams implemented (target>6); # Use cases in each industrial activity (target>2). SO2: Development of novel DT models and infrastructure of household energy consumers, and also a ground-breaking AI-based assistant tool and NLP-based intermediator integrated with the DT infrastructure, allowing the use of layperson’s terms to express expectations on the energy performance and cost. TRL Levels: Initial TRL is 5. Final TRL is 6. KPIs: DT models accuracy (target>60%); User comfort levels (target>30%). SO3: Development of a cloud-based data sharing platform for searching, accessing and using energy and non-energy-related data, ensuring security, interoperability and the seamless integration of all technical modules, and supporting social and behavioural user-centric scenarios. TRL Levels: Initial TRL is 5. Final TRL is 6. KPIs: # Modules/tools integration (target>10); Data sharing enabling (target>30%). SO4: Development of new AI-powered and simplified digital platforms modules and tools for energy services to empower non-experienced consumers, supplemented by an energy marketplace digital platform for more experienced users who can engage in peer-to-peer (P2P) energy trading. TRL Levels: Initial TRL is 5. Final TRL is 7. KPIs: User acceptance (target>40%); Representation complexity (target<50%). SO5: Development of digital access and visualisation tools to allow citizens to visualise and access all the energy-related data generated, being user-friendly and able to adapt to the diverse requirements of trust and heterogeneous user profile types, promoting consumer engagement. TRL Levels: Initial TRL is 5. Final TRL is 7. KPIs: QoE - Quality of experience (target>40%); Energy efficiency (target>25%). SO6: Development of a set of novel market mechanisms for energy and flexibility (implicit and explicit) to support consumers to maximally use the new digital technologies enabled by AI applications, supporting other market actors in the adoption, use and integration of digital tools. TRL Levels: Initial TRL is 5. Final TRL is 6. KPIs: Market access (target>25%); Flexibility potential (target>20%). SO7: Development of novel consumer-centric services business models from a multi-commodity and cross-sectorial perspective, to support AI-powered digital tools used by consumers and citizens, assessing the impact on market efficiency. TRL Levels: Initial TRL is 5. Final TRL is 6. KPIs: # Consumer-centric approaches (target >6); Market efficiency (target>15%). SO8: Development of energy literacy empowerment of the end-users, facilitating citizens’ participation (including vulnerable consumers) in the use of the new digital tools tested in the industrial environments in the different EU countries. TRL Levels: Initial TRL is 5. Final TRL is 6. KPIs: # Social awareness guidelines (target>5); Action energy literacy (target>50%).
