Geography of investments
All the investments covered by Portugal 2020 are primarily designed to improve the quality of life of citizens and the competitiveness of businesses.
The way in which the investments are distributed strives to achieve an equitable distribution of funding and secure the development of the country and its regions. To this end, investments are allocated to the he different Portuguese municipalities in accordance with the strategic priorities of each European funding.
