O projeto decorre da necessidade de melhorar as características de eficiência energética de 30 habitações sociais municipais. A candidatura enquadra-se na seguinte tipologia de investimento prevista no Aviso: (ii) reabilitação energética dos edifícios e equipamentos da Administração Local e Sub-regional, através de realização de investimentos, como integração de água quente solar, incorporação de microgeração, sistemas de iluminação, aquecimentos, ventilação e ar condicionado (AVAC), intervenções nas fachadas e na cobertura dos edifícios.
