Studies on interaction between phytoplankton and bacteria under increasing CO2 concentrations are scarce and short, considering only a small number of generations. PhyBa_CO2 will determine whether those interactions may affect species evolution potential. Moreover, the results will set the first stone on the understanding of potential consequences of those interactions to future ocean?s productivity, food value and nutrient cycling.
