O projeto Growth for Impact irá ser desenvolvido pelo Tec Labs, Incubadora e Área de Inovação e Empreendedorismo da Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa (CIÊNCIAS), e pretende: i) repensar o nosso posicionamento estratégico em termos de incubação, com particular foco na componente de internacionalização e da melhoria contínua do apoio que prestamos ao nosso portfolio de mais de 30 start-ups de base científica e tecnológica, quer em early stage, quer na fase de scale-up; e, ii) ganhar escala com o trabalho que fazemos em termos de transferência de tecnologia com vista a aumentar o número de spin-offs criadas e de projetos de licenciamento de tecnologias desenvolvidas no seio da instituição à indústria. Cumprem-se, assim, objetivos como a ligação entre a academia e tecido empresarial nacional e internacional, bem como aumentando o potencial de impacto da nossa investigação posta ao serviço da resolução de desafios societais, económicos, ambientais, ou de saúde, entre outros.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.

Beneficiaries representing public entities implement their project by signing one or more contracts with suppliers for goods or services through public procurement procedures.
