A Connect Robotics propõe a implementação de um projeto piloto com o nome Transporte por Drone by Connect Robotics: um avançado sistema de drone delivery para áreas suburbanas e rurais de Portugal. Esta iniciativa visa revolucionar o ecossistema de entrega ao oferecer uma solução inovadora e eficiente para consumidores e empresas, com entregas em menos de 15 minutos sem emissão de carbono. O piloto visa demonstrar o sistema de transporte e autonomia da Connect Robotics, que foi recentemente certificado pelas autoridades de aviação de acordo com a nova regulamentação europeia dos drones. A entregas autónoma por drones foi proibida pelas autoridades durante 3 anos, mas finalmente a regulamentação europeia publicou os critérios para autorização, e a Connect Robotics cumpriu-os, conseguindo uma das primeiras autorizações europeias para o feito. O próximo passo é realizar projeto piloto para demonstrar ao mercado que a solução já pode ser implementada comercialmente.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.

Beneficiaries representing public entities implement their project by signing one or more contracts with suppliers for goods or services through public procurement procedures.
