O projeto da VisionVolt tem como o objetivo o desenvolvimento de um sistema inovador com tecnologia Ultra Wide Band (UWB) para utilização em minas subterrâneas, que permita rastrear de forma precisa a localização de veículos, materiais e pessoal. Com este sistema será possível otimizar rotas, melhorar a segurança e a eficiência operacioinal. Ao contrário do GPS, a UWB opera eficientemente em ambientes internos, fornecendo dados de localização de alta precisão e baixa latência, cruciais para uma gestão segura e eficiente das operações de mineração. A solução proposta inclui um sistema composto por tags e âncoras, com tags passivas instaladas nos veículos e equipamentos. Os dados recolhidos pelas âncoras serão constantemente reportados à base de dados central e analisados com recurso a algoritmos de inteligência artificial que visam otimizar a gestão de tráfego. Este projeto promove um uso mais eficiente dos recursos energéticos e aumenta a eficiência operacional das empresas do setor.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
