A realidade virtual (VR) e a Inteligência artificial (AI) são componentes vitais para o desenvolvimento da saúde. Desde a representação modelada de exames imagiológicos, que permitem uma profundidade de análise inigualável, reduzindo o risco de não identificação prévia de patologias, até à possibilidade de fazer acompanhamento médico realista, reduzindo as desvantagens da vídeo-consulta tradicional, sem que o médico e pacientes tenham de percorrer longas distâncias para se encontrarem num ponto comum. Este projecto visa criar um novo modelo de prestação de cuidados de saúde primários capaz de chegar a qualquer parte do país sem necessidade de percorrer longas distâncias, capaz de mobilizar mais utentes para consultas médicas como forma de prevenção e monitorização regular da saúde, tal como mais médicos para zonas com menor densidade populacional, sem que isso sobrecarregue os sistemas existentes e sem necessidade de investimento em grandes infra-estruturas.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.

Beneficiaries representing public entities implement their project by signing one or more contracts with suppliers for goods or services through public procurement procedures.
