A Agri MP pretende, com o presente projeto, desenvolver uma aplicação que permita efetuar o cálculo do potencial da redução de emissões de carbono e o cálculo de potencial de sequestro de carbono de uma determinada exploração agrícola, constituindo-se assim como uma ferramenta de diagnóstico e monitorização de boas práticas ambientais.O processo inicia-se com visitas de campo, para a recolha de elementos relevantes, nomeadamente das práticas agrícolas da exploração, em tudo o que impacta a nível de emissões de carbono, e de acordo com a cultura analisada. Com a colocação dos dados recolhidos na aplicação, são calculados os diferenciais entre o potencial da redução de emissões de carbono e o potencial de sequestro de carbono, sendo, com base nos resultados obtidos, sugeridas melhorias nas práticas agrícolas. No caso de os diferenciais serem positivos, pode dar origem à certificação de créditos de carbono, ficando o Promotor responsável também por este processo de certificação.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
