A Test Bed AI-CENTER visa a implementação de uma INFRAESTRUTURA DIRECIONADA À ECONOMIA DIGITAL, através da qual as empresas e startups, de uma MULTIPLICIDADE DE SETORES, podem desenvolver e testar os seus produtos e serviços digitais, ACELERANDO A DIGITALIZAÇÃO DO TECIDO EMPRESARIAL português, e promovendo a TRANSIÇÃO CLIMÁTICA, com recurso a tecnologias como on-demand platforms, lifecycle management, zero-touch management, self-healing, predictive maintenance, data sovereignty, etc. Através desta infraestrutura, as empresas aderentes poderão RESERVAR E CONTRATAR SERVIÇOS E/OU RECURSOS HUMANOS ESPECIALIZADOS PARA ATENDER ÀS SUAS NECESSIDADES, podendo estas ser processuais, logísticas, comerciais, computacionais, etc. O foco incidirá no DESENVOLVIMENTO DE 105 PRODUTOS/SERVIÇOS PILOTO, COMERCIALMENTE VIÁVEIS, com CASOS DE ESTUDO EM 10 SETORES DE ATIVIDADE, até setembro de 2025, sendo que 1/3 deste valor deverá ser alcançado até setembro de 2023, bem acima da meta de 15% proposta.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.

Beneficiaries representing public entities implement their project by signing one or more contracts with suppliers for goods or services through public procurement procedures.
