No caso da DF, a intervenção é sobretudo direcionada para a aquisição e instalação de equipamentos com características e/ou funcionalidades que permitem a acessibilidade especificamente relacionada com a sua condição de deficiência, nomeadamente, aquisição e instalação de eletrodomésticos com características de acessibilidade para o DF, que permitam o seu fácil manuseamento. Por exemplo, uma arca congeladora vertical, com várias prateleiras/gavetas, permitirá a organização e o acesso aos alimentos armazenados de modo mais fácil e intuitivo para quem não vê, uma vez que não é possível etiquetar com Braile os alimentos embalados. Após análise cuidadosa do mercado e tendo em consideração os equipamentos mais adequados, solicitaram-se os respetivos orçamentos tendo concluído que produtos com funções/características de desempenho mais específicas e eficientes são quase sempre produtos de gama alta e, por isso, de custo mais elevado. As soluções apresentadas na candidatura permitirão á DF ter mais autonomia no desempenho de tarefas domésticas quotidianas, sentir-se segura na sua habitação e disfrutar melhor da sua habitação.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.

Beneficiaries representing public entities implement their project by signing one or more contracts with suppliers for goods or services through public procurement procedures.
