A NGN propõe-se disponibilizar infraestruturas, capacidade tecnológica e uma equipa técnica altamente especializada na área do 5G para apoiar o desenvolvimento, teste, experimentação e validação de novos produtos e serviços com forte componente digital de PME e startups, de vários setores, tais como Saúde, Media e Entretenimento e Mobilidade,A NGN objetiva alcançar 59 produtos/serviços piloto, até setembro de 2025, endereçando assim a necessidade de responder aos objetivos estratégicos nacionais, estabelecidos na C16 do PRR, O contributo da NGN passa também por impulsionar a disponibilização mais célere de produtos/serviços que dependam e beneficiem das potencialidades do 5G, acelerando o processo de transição digital, bem como a transição climática,Por fim, pretende-se garantir que os serviços e a infraestrutura a disponibilizar, serão de acesso aberto, não discriminatório e concorrencial, em condições equitativas e a preços de mercado, baseados numa lógica de inovação colaborativa,
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
