A Verallia Portugal integra o Grupo Verallia, atualmente o terceiro maior produtor mundial de embalagens de vidro para alimentos e bebidas. Com a implementação deste projeto a empresa visa dar seguimento à estratégia do Grupo, em particular no que diz respeito aos seus ambiciosos objetivos na área da Descarbonização da Atividade e da Economia Circular, onde se destaca o objetivo de reduzir em 46% as emissões de CO2 entre 2019 e 2030.Assim, o projeto incluirá um conjunto integrado de medias que contribuirão diretamente para a redução de emissões de GEE através da diminuição do consumo energético, nomeadamente: Substituição de equipamentos que recorram a consumo de gás natural, por equipamentos elétricos; otimização de sistemas de ar comprimido; alteração de fornos, soluções digitais inteligentes de apoio a medição e monitorização de dados para a gestão e otimização de energia nos processos, otimização de motores e implementação de soluções de iluminação energeticamente mais eficientes.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
