A Britafiel, S.A. tem como atividade principal a extração e transformação de massas minerais graníticas ? agregados e rochas ornamentais. Este projeto materializa um vetor estratégico da sua atuação, o respeito pelo meio ambiental, tendo como objetivo principal o acelerar da transição energética da Britafiel para uma empresa neutra em carbono, apostando na descarbonização das suas fontes energéticas de origem fóssil para renováveis. Deste modo, o investimento numa unidade de produção para autoconsumo (UPAC) de tecnologia solar fotovoltaica de 749,92 kWp e a aquisição de tecnologias de escavação hibridas (electricidade/biodiesel), decorrem naturalmente da relação entre a mitigação do impacto dos custos energéticos, agravados com o atual contexto geopolítico na Europa (guerra Ucrânia - Rússia) e a promoção do desenvolvimento sustentável com a diminuição das emissões de carbono decorrentes da sua atividade.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
