O presente projeto tem como principal objetivo descarbonizar a atividade industrial da IKEA IP, em cerca de 6,88 mil tCO2 até 2025 (2019-2025), através da realização de um conjunto de investimentos que preconizam intervenções técnicas ao nível de três dimensões de funcionamento do processo produtivo, nomeadamente (i) operação de pintura; (ii) geração de energia; e (iii) processos auxiliares de apoio transversal à produção.Pretende-se, com o presente investimento, minimizar as emissões diretas e indiretas de gases com efeito estufa, através da redução do consumo específico de energia e da geração de energia a partir de fontes renováveis; promover a redução da utilização de gases fluorados e a exposição da unidade à rede elétrica nacional e aos mercados de energia e ainda; incorporar soluções tecnológicas inovadoras que maximizem o potencial de redução de emissões de gases com efeito estufa na utilização de biomassa, passiveis de serem replicadas noutras fábricas do grupo.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
