Com o presente projeto a FLEX2000 reforça o seu compromisso com a sustentabilidade ambiental, apostando na recuperação e reutilização dos desperdícios gerados, numa lógica de economia circular, enquanto promove a diminuição dos consumos energéticos e da pegada de carbono e incorpora no seu perfil de consumo energia produzida a partir de fontes renováveis, diminuindo a dependência do fornecimento de energia de rede e combustíveis fósseis.O investimento vai permitir operacionalizar a transição energética na sua unidade fabril e implementação de novos processos que vão promover a eficiência energética, numa lógica de sustentabilidade global, com foco nas operações produtivas e a jusante no transporte/expedição.O projeto apoia assim a introdução de novas tecnologias e processos produtivos mais sustentáveis e energicamente mais eficientes, apoiado em soluções de ec. circular que diminuem o impacto ambiental da produção (redução intensidade energética e carbónica), gerando maior valor.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.

Beneficiaries representing public entities implement their project by signing one or more contracts with suppliers for goods or services through public procurement procedures.
