O presente projeto visa da redução média de emissões diretas e indiretas de gases com efeito de estufa da BIODENSA na produção de pellets e briquetes de madeira. O projeto assenta numa avaliação ex-ante realizada por uma empresa especializada que permitiu desde logo perceber que as emissões em 2019 totalizaram 820 tCO2e e em 2020 738 tCO2e. Para concretizar a redução das emissões a que se propõe, a BIODENSA desenvolveu um projeto que vai incidir na introdução de processos e tecnologias de baixo carbono na indústria e na incorporação de energia de fonte renovável (solar e biomassa). Com a concretização, a BIODENSA vai:- Diminuir as emissões de gases com efeito de estufa em 295 tCO2e anualmente;- Diminuir o consumo de energia final em 596 tep anualmente;- Aumentar a potência instalada Unidades de Produção para Autoconsumo (UPAC) para os 1.398kW (358,4 kWp do sistema fotovoltaico e 1.040 kW da cogeração a partir de biomassa)
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
