O presente projeto tem como objetivo alterar o paradigma de utilização dos recursos naturais e energéticos na maior instalação industrial da Renova, a Fábrica 2, transitando-a para uma renovada realidade de baixo carbono, circular, e centrada na utilização de recursos naturais endógenos de forma sustentável. Com efeito, pretende-se posicionar a Renova no combate às alterações climáticas, concretamente através da descarbonização das suas unidades industriais, integração de renováveis, reaproveitamento de resíduos e reforço da eficiência energética, com impactos positivos na competitividade e inovação. Tal contribuirá para a sua própria resiliência e diminuição da dependência energética externa, mas também para os objetivos nacionais e comunitários de redução das emissões de gases com efeito de estufa. Pretende-se que este projeto possa contribuir com uma redução de emissões de gases com efeito de estufa de 43,5% em 2025 e garantir ganhos de eficiência energética superiores a 7,4 % tep
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
