O projeto CYRUS – Cyber and Resilience Urban System, promovido pela Ubiwhere é um projeto de Investigação e Desenvolvimento que visa reforçar a continuidade da governação e a segurança digital das cidades. Assente na Urban Platform, solução FIWARE da Ubiwhere já adotada por vários municípios, o projeto desenvolve duas novas linhas de investigação: uma dedicada ao Planeamento e Continuidade da Governação, centrada na preparação e prontidão operacional em contextos de crise; e outra de Cibersegurança e Resiliência Digital, focada na proteção e recuperação de infraestruturas críticas e dados territoriais. Estas linhas convergem na criação do Observatório de Defesa Civil e “Situational Awareness”, um núcleo analítico que integra informação física, operacional e digital para apoio à decisão em emergências, promovendo tecnologias dual-use aplicáveis à Economia da Defesa e Proteção Civil.
