O TEXP@CT tem como grande objetivo alavancar as empresas do STV e as empresas dos setores TICE e Tecnologias de produção para patamares, respetivamente, de digitalização e de leque de oferta tecnológica marcadamente superiores. É pretendido aumentar o nível de digitalização das empresas do STV, utilizando empresas de referência como âncora; potenciar pilotos industriais que sirvam de farol para o setor; potenciar o aumento de soluções e de tecnologias disponíveis para o setor da ITV; contribuir para o volume de exportações, através de novas soluções e tecnologias digitais e, num plano mais distante, de uma ITV mais forte; e também contribuir para colmatar as lacunas ao nível dos skills digitais dos profissionais do setor ITV. Com o TEXP@CT pretende-se que o setor tenho um impulso significativo em termos da adoção de tecnologias e soluções digitais, ao mesmo tempo que se torna mais atrativo para os atuais e futuros recursos humanos, mais resiliente, mais sustentável e mais sofisticado.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.

Beneficiaries representing public entities implement their project by signing one or more contracts with suppliers for goods or services through public procurement procedures.
