A aposta em educação e formação é crucial para assegurar aos portugueses perspetivas de empregabilidade, realização pessoal e bem-estar, e para as empresas serem melhor geridas, mais produtivas, e para um Portugal mais competitivo e desenvolvido. O investimento na modernização dos equipamentos e mobiliário para o ensino e formação profissional das áreas técnicas das Energias Renováveis visam contribuir para um desenvolvimento mais expressivo das seguintes ações: Melhoria da formação, com o cumprimento dos programas e currículos específicos e técnicos dos cursos de educação e formação profissional com melhor qualidade; Desenvolver projetos mais inovadores, em particular no âmbito das Provas de Aptidão Profissional (PAP) de cada um dos cursos de EFP; Realizar ações de formação, em articulação com os CFAE (Centro de Formação de Agrupamento de Escolas) destinada a docentes e técnicos especializados; Contribuir para reforçar a atratividade e credibilização do EFP com equipamentos mais atualizados e modernos capazes de acompanhar e dar resposta às necessidades atuais e de futuro do setor das Energias Renováveis; Contribuir de forma direta e indireta para a fixação de pessoas e famílias portuguesas e estrangeiras no território nacional. A necessidade de apostar em alternativas aos combustíveis fósseis e reforçar a utilização de energias renováveis é um desígnio europeu e nacional. A formação de técnicos habilitados a instalar e manter equipamentos que deem resposta a este desígnio é uma aposta de futuro, com previsível aumento de procura por empregadores e com elevado potencial no que diz respeito ao empreendedorismo.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.

Beneficiaries representing public entities implement their project by signing one or more contracts with suppliers for goods or services through public procurement procedures.
