O MDA 2026 é um investimento integrado que combina investigação industrial, desenvolvimento experimental, a criação de uma equipa permanente dedicada à I&D e investimento produtivo, alinhados com as transições digital e climática. O seu propósito é aumentar a capacidade produtiva e sustentar o crescimento esperado do negócio, apoiado na sua competitividade e diversificação. O projeto reforça a competitividade custo e valor da MDA, ampliando a sua presença em novos mercados geográficos/setoriais e em novos clientes. E fá-lo através de novos produtos (integração de revestimento de poliuretano nas peças plásticas, peças estruturais/placas e lightweight parts) e da inovação de processos, orientada para a sua otimização, digitalização e automação, elevando a eficiência produtiva e energética, a qualidade, acabamento e precisão dimensional das peças e reduzindo lead time, complementados por inovações organizacionais e de marketing, incluindo um novo ERP, iniciativas ESG e estudo de mercado.
