O aumento de capital do BPF no montante de 250 milhões de euros foi efetuado com o objetivo de criar as condições para adesão do BPF ao InvestEU. Com a aprovação da candidatura do BPF serão operacionalizados 4 programas de investimento, 3 de garantia e 1 de empréstimo: - Garantias para Transportes Públicos e Mobilidade Sustentável; - Garantias para projetos de Investigação, Inovação e Digitalização; - PME; - Empréstimo com Partilha de Risco para Infraestruturas Sociais.
