A operação contemplou a pavimentação da Rua do Pacífico, estando prevista a criação de passeios, o rebaixamento de passeios e colocação de pavimento tátil e direcional junto às passagens de peões e a execução de passagem de peões, tendo sido o projeto realizado pela Divisão de Acessibilidades Viárias, Energias e Gestão de Frotas do Município de Albufeira. No âmbito da candidatura, foram realizados trabalhos necessários para a melhoria das acessibilidades nomeadamente a criação de passeios, o rebaixamento de passeios e colocação de pavimento tátil e direcional junto às passagens de peões e a execução de passagem de peões. Foi igualmente incluído na empreitada a instalação de corrimão junto ao passeio para proteção dos peões relativamente a talude (vedação em plástico 100% reciclado tipo Valongo da Extruplás ou equivalente). Com esta intervenção foi possível eliminar as barreiras existentes neste caminho, garantindo assim a circulação pedonal de qualquer pessoa (com ou sem mobilidade condicionada), num total de 1.473,54m2 em toda a área (intervenção e envolvente). O valor total da empreitada foi de 528.271,22 €, acrescido de IVA à taxa legal em vigor, sendo que o valor referente às acessibilidades pedonais corresponde ao montante de 74.948,08€, acrescido de IVA à taxa legal em vigor.
Beneficiaries

- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
