The project is aligned with key societal priorities of promoting health, life quality and environment, contributing to healthy, safe and sustainable food. It is divided in 2 research lines. ProHealthFOOD focus on health-promoting compounds, their bioavailability and biological pathway involved in some chronic disease prevention. ValorFOOD aims at improving food properties, authenticity and safety, as well as valorizing food by-products.
