A candidatura da NOVA à Componente 6 (C6), “Qualificações e Competências”, do Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência (RRP) através de um consórcio de empresas nacionais e internacionais e autoridades públicas lideradas pela NOVA é tributária dessa visão. Esta aborda diretamente três dos principais desafios enfrentados pelas sociedades ocidentais modernas: (1) Alterações climáticas e degradação ambiental; (2) Sustentabilidade dos sistemas de saúde no contexto do envelhecimento populacional; e (3) Exclusão social. Em estreita cooperação com um conjunto de parceiros relevantes, pretende-se preparar estudantes jovens e adultos e alunos ao longo da vida, que já fazem parte ou que, em breve, se juntarão à população ativa, nacional e internacional, para contribuírem para a formulação de soluções para tais desafios. Esta é considerada a melhor forma de responder à preocupação transversal do RRP com a empregabilidade sustentável num mundo em rápida evolução.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.

Beneficiaries representing public entities implement their project by signing one or more contracts with suppliers for goods or services through public procurement procedures.
