A RAR Açúcar é uma empresa que actua no sector da refinação e comercialização de açúcar. A Empresa está integrada no Grupo RAR, um grupo que actua num conjunto diversificado de negócios, incluindo na área Alimentar.Em alinhamento com a sua estratégia de sustentabilidade, a RAR Açúcar pretende levar a cabo o Projecto CarbonFree, que visa a implementação de um conjunto de medidas que contribuam para a aceleração da neutralidade carbónica da Empresa.O Projecto engloba investimentos estratégicos que irão permitir reduzir as emissões de GEE, melhorar eficiência energética dos processos e apostar nas energias renováveis. De destacar a substituição de uma caldeira a gás natural por uma caldeira a biomassa para produção de vapor, a aplicação de medidas para reduzir os consumos energéticos e a criação de um parque fotovoltaico para autoconsumo.A RAR Açúcar prevê atingir uma redução das emissões na ordem das 16.122,06 tCO2eq, o que equivale a uma redução de 32,6% em comparação 2020.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
