Desde 1960 que o space debris (detritos espaciais) aumenta de forma quase exponencial, com mais de 34.000 objectos (>10 cm) e milhões de peças mais pequenas na órbita da Terra. As colisões causadas por detritos espaciais causam enormes perdas aos operadores de satélites e aos utilizadores dos seus serviços (quase todos nós). Se hoje já há um problema com 6.000 satélites, em 2030 teremos mais de 100.000 satélites (factor 15x) devido às mega-constelações (e.g Starlink, Oneweb, Amazon). As soluções actuais não são capazes de lidar este aumento de 15x no tráfego espacial. Em 2030, a Neuraspace será uma força dominante na no mercado com uma quota de 30% e mais de 100M€ de receitas. Reforçaremos a capacidade de ID&T nacional, criando um hub para desenvolvimento e exploração de tecnologias espaciais. O projeto reúne assim a expertise, equipa e stakeholders para criar uma nova cadeia de valor na economia do espaço, mais concretamente na gestão de tráfego no espaço (Space Traffic Management).
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
