O projeto Tissue Improvement + visa consolidar a RENOVA como referência europeia em inovação e sustentabilidade no setor do papel tissue, através da criação de um Centro de Excelência em Inovação, Sustentabilidade e Design. A iniciativa integra atividades de investigação industrial e desenvolvimento experimental nos domínios do desenvolvimento de novos produtos, na procura de alternativas têxteis para as fibras recicladas, descarbonização e economia circular. O projeto permitirá reforçar a capacidade interna de I&D, promover a eficiência energética e ambiental e gerar produtos e processos inovadores, contribuindo diretamente para os objetivos do PRR — Transição Climática, Digital e Reindustrialização Sustentável.
