?????The creation of laboratories for the collection, storage, and processing of qualitative data represents a strategic investment in strengthening CIPES’s scientific and technical capacity as a centre of excellence in higher education research. This infrastructure will enable the collection, storage, and processing of qualitative data, such as audio and video recordings, interactions, and other similar initiatives, whether conducted in person or remotely. It will be aligned with the objectives of the 2025–2029 strategic plan and will support the implementation of empirical studies across diverse institutional and regional contexts.The laboratory will facilitate the production of high-quality research by integrating both quantitative and qualitative approaches, thereby increasing data reliability and reducing methodological errors. Activities to be developed include task simulations, performance assessments, interviews, and focus groups, in face-to-face, remote, or hybrid formats. The technological component of the laboratory will ensure the secure, structured, and long-term storage of collected data, guaranteeing its integrity, accessibility, and protection. To this end, a robust digital infrastructure will be acquired, including a central server and backup systems. Specialised software will also be procured for the treatment, coding, analysis, and visualisation of qualitative and mixed data, namely NVivo, Stata, and other complementary tools. These resources will enable rigorous and in-depth analysis.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
Final evaluation score
The components for calculating the assessment score can be found in the selection criteria document mentioned below.
